The remuneration package should be competitive, but it should also fit internal relations and social perceptions. How do we achieve a balanced policy that fits the culture and dynamics of the organisation?

Our method

Focus Orange works from the perspective that the role of the employer is more than just appointing and rewarding managers, but also concerns mutual cooperation, assessment and development. The basis for a policy that promotes this requires:

  • Inzicht in beloningscultuur en -structuur van de onderneming;
  • Analyse van interne beloningsverhoudingen en relevante externe bestuurdersbeloning-data;
  • Inventarisatie van de visie van alle betrokken partijen;
  • Toetsing op eisen vanuit wetgeving, governance code en maatschappelijke opvattingen.

We directly cooperate with supervisors and managers in an interactive process to develop a policy that fits the organisation. We test the policy for explainability and we offer assistance in describing and presenting the policy.

Result

An interpretation of the role of the employer with an explainable remuneration policy that is approved by shareholders and accepted by the board, employees and society. This policy can serve as a base for the remuneration policy for all employees of the organisation.
